Moving a Student Between Campuses
How a campus transfer works and what happens to the student's history.

When a family moves from one branch to another, use the Transfer Campus action on the student's row in Students.
What happens
- The student's permanent identity doesn't change - only their current enrollment's class, section, and campus.
- A record of the transfer (from branch, to branch, date, reason) is kept permanently, visible in the student's history.
- Attendance, marks, and fee records already recorded under the old branch stay exactly as they were - a campus transfer never rewrites history.
Who can do this
Since a transfer touches two branches at once, this is intentionally available to the School Owner and other roles with school-wide student-edit access, not to a branch-restricted Principal acting alone on just their own branch.
