How Schools Can Manage Multiple Campuses From One Platform
A school that grows from one campus to several usually hits the same wall: the software they started with wasn't built with more than one location in mind, so every new branch means either a second, disconnected setup, or endless workarounds.
What a real multi-branch system needs
One owner, full visibility. Whoever runs the whole organization should be able to see every branch's numbers together, or switch to look at just one branch, without maintaining two separate accounts.
Branch staff should only see their own branch. A principal at Branch B shouldn't be able to see Branch A's students, staff, or dashboard numbers - not because they're untrusted, but because it's simply not their branch to manage, and mixing the two invites mistakes.
Moving a student between branches should be a real, tracked action - not a delete-and-recreate that loses their history, but a genuine transfer that's recorded permanently.
Shared configuration, branch-specific data. Academic years, subjects, and school-wide settings should be shared, while students, classes, and day-to-day records stay scoped to the branch they actually belong to.
The payoff for growing schools
Done properly, adding a second or third branch stops being a software problem - it becomes exactly what it should be: a business decision about where to open next.
